The given 1mg-1kg precision weights are provided to the customer in 3 different models also called classes. It has F1, F2, and M1 classes. These weights are made of stainless steel and the material that is used in the weights is accorded by both FDA and SGS and comes from the United Kingdom. The F1 model of weight can trace the F2 weight and others below that and F2 can trace M1 and lower.

Nominal Value

 The phrase nominal value is referred to the probable calculated value of the weight which differs from the actual value. However, the difference between the two can only be up to the 5th decimal point. This precision weight has a nominal value of 1mg to 50kg.     

Susceptibility

 The susceptibility of an object is defined as the rate of its vulnerability to a certain thing or situation. It varies among different materials. For these OIML approved weights it between 0.05 and 0.2.
           
Density

 The density measure for this weight is 7.9g/cm³. It is the derived value of the weight’s mass consisting of its unit volume. It is obtained to know how much material is inside an object.

Magnetization

 When an object is placed in a magnetic field, its magnetization is the value of the extent to which that object gets temporarily or permanently magnetized. The 1mg-1kg have different magnetization for each class of its class. F1≤25μT, F2≤80μT, M1≤250μT are the values for F1, F2, and M1.

Precautions with the Weight

The weights should be handled carefully as they are quite delicate, also the user must keep these away from wet places. When an individual purchases these high precision weights there are forceps provided along with it so that one uses the forceps to pick up the weight and not hands as it leaves scratches on the body.
