It converts applied shear stress into an electrical signal output. Zemic load cells are highly recommended for applications with many electronic weighing equipment like tracks, trucks, and hoppers. It is made from nickel-plated alloy steel which is durable to handle large weights.

• The Zemic HM9B is made of nickel-plated alloy steel. 

• This improves the load cell's hardness, durability, toughness, and corrosion resistance. 

• Jet engines, nuclear plants, and spacecraft use alloy steel.

Accuracy

• Zemic HM9B load cells have OIM R60 C3 accuracy. High-accuracy load cells are rated C3. 

• Load cells in the C3 Accuracy Class classification are most commonly used in weighing machines that mix sand and cement.

Maximum Capacity

• HM9B load cells can compress 10-50t. Overload is limited.

Safe Overload

• Zemic HM9B load cells can safely handle 150% of their maximum load. 

• Exceeding 150% may deform the load cell.

Ultimate Overload

• The maximum allowed overload is 300 percent. 

• Over 300 percent causes load cell deformation and inaccurate measurements.

 Common Problems

• Mount load cells correctly. Improperly mounted load cells will give inaccurate readings.

• Overloading a weighing device can cause permanent load cell deformation. Permanent load cell deformation makes calibration impossible.

• Electrical damage is another load cell problem. Load cell resistors are damaged by high currents.
